The difference between peony and peony
1. The most fundamental difference: peony is a woody plant that can grow up to 2 meters tall. Paeonia lactiflora is a short (perennial root tuber) herbaceous plant that is no higher than 1 meter.
2. Peony has an earlier flowering stage than peony. The peony usually blooms in mid-to-late April, while the peony blooms in early-mid-May. The difference in flowering time between the two is about 15 days.
3. The peony leaves are wide, and the front green is slightly yellow, while the peony leaves are narrow, and the front and back are black-green;
4. Peony flowers are born on the tops of flowering branches and are more solitary. The flower diameter is generally about 20 cm; and the flowers of peony are more than that of the branch top family. The flower diameter is generally about 15 cm.
